My first (half way decent) Milky Way shot
The night sky in Brittany is gorgeous, low light pollution allows the observing the Milky Way with the naked eye easily on a clear night. Ah, that’s been the kicker this summer, a clear sky, day OR night. We had one last night and I tried a shot. I have not special astrophotography gear, and I already carry too much stuff when I travel…..Here is the only shot that worked, not sure why, Fujifilm X-T4, 30 seconds exposure, f2.8, 16mm focus, RAW, ISO-12800, low light NR maxed out, then processed in LR to bring it up and denoised. Compressed to JPG (boo) 4096 pixels long edge to skirt under Squarespace limit of 20Mb
