Stuff I see……food obessions….rust / decay / rainbow unicorns…. everything else..
Kusama "Cosmic Nature" at the Bronx Botanical Garden
Best photo from the series
I think this is the best photo from the series. 7 shot AE bracket and Topaz sharpen. Shiny, bright, sharp, presence…
I tried sooo hard to wait for these people to leave…..but the shot I took after they left was totally unfocussed…..rats.
Amazing substructure in metal with each flower trained to an individual support. Quite a site, the picture does not have the color I wanted, despite being a 7 shot AE bracket. I have to get a monopod cant lug tripods for this fast stuff and the stabilization is not good enough for my shaky hands…..
Mummy please!
Well, its kind of mum……just a really fancy one. Nice and sharp, thank you Topaz… I need to work on manual focus……and get a better lens.

Spheres floating, Kusuma
This was my favorite, video is better for this installation, as the spheres are pushed by the wind and pulled by the gentle current of the stream…an early work evidently from the 1960s…impressive.
Ms Chouteau photographing shiny spheres
Peek-a-boo.....
A shot through a slot in a boulder……I think its reasonable, focus was okay even before a Topaz sharpen….I personally like the rock on the right…..
Now that's a garden in The Bronx!
At the Botanical Garden LIRR stop, these guys have garden and chicken coop right next to the train platform….amusing..
Wheeeee! Blur #1
Fun with camera blur while waiting for your train…..
Wheee! #2
I like this one, so much I undeleted it, because I like seeing the people on the other side of the tracks through the ghosting of the train…
Wheee! in Blue......
Pelerinage a Min et Mon, SoHo
Ms Chouteau favorite handbag shop…..in the world I believe based on the number of bags she has from them…..at least one per trip…her record remains unbroken….not bad for an independent SoHo shop that had to make it through Covid….I remember the first time we saw it, they were closing and she vowed to come back….well we did…..and now they are on Project Runway…..check the episode from November 18 ,2021 evidently
Because I Love Street Scenes
And NYC abounds with them and Chinatown even more….you can keep MidTown and the Uppers, we like Downtown and adjacent.….well, that’s because we never have time to go to Brooklyn or Queens….or The Bronx, well, we did a little this time….
Chinatown Street Scene 2
Towers framing Empire State Buildings, Second Take
I tried this shot from the entrance balcony on Park Row of a cousins apartments….and I like this one better…..still had to rely on Topaz Sharpen for the smaller details….and Topaz DeNoise, since it was a night shot…..my manual focus was better than the last attempt…I should find the old one and post them side by side…..or not, might be a depressing idea…dreams of progress towards a better future, that is ‘Murica!!! Or at least middle aged denial…..
